To Enter:

  1. Sign up for SciCast or login if you already have an account
  2. Pick your team from the list of participating universities. Please only join ONE team.
  3. See all the questions included in the competition by choosing your school from the "Show Group" dropdown up top
  4. Start making forecasts

The contest ends on May 31st. Winners will be announced on June 7th.

Prize Details:

Monetary prizes in the form of gift cards will be awarded in the following categories. Minimum requirements for earning a prize are having made at least 50 forecasts and having at least 50 people participating from your university, so be sure to tell your friends to sign up!

Individual Grand Prizes (Winner in each category receives a $500 Chipotle or Amazon gift card - your choice)

  • Individual who earns the most points from new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET
  • Individual who is the most accurate forecaster on new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET

Individual Runner Up Prizes (2nd place in each category receives a $100 Chipotle or Amazon gift card)

  • Individual who earns the second highest points from new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET
  • Individual who is the second most accurate forecaster on new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET

Team Grand Prizes (Top 10 individuals from winning team receives a $25 Chipotle or Amazon gift card)

  • Team with the highest aggregate points from new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET
  • Team with the most accurate forecasts on new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET

Team Runner Up Prizes (Top 10 individuals from 2nd place team receive a $10 Chipotle or Amazon gift card)

  • Team with the second highest aggregate points from new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET
  • Team with the most accurate forecasts on new forecasts made from 4/29 9am ET to 5/31 5pm ET
